
My job involves me driving about 40,000 miles per year which causes calf pain that is aggravated by road running. I run about 18 miles per week to keep fit and didn't want to give this up. Response physio assessed me thoroughly and initially I had treatment on a weekly basis focusing on stretching and strengthening my hamstrings and calves along with calf massage, but as my strength has progressed and symptoms improved I now have a maintenance sports massage every month. I am now able to run on the road pain free.
